I started photography out of pure curiosity. Which turned into a desire to learn. Which formed an understanding through action. That then sparked a passion within me.
Through my experience in photographing others, I have found that the interactions between people excite and fascinate me. Capturing these movements and moments is what I’m passionate about. My promise is that you'll be able look back on these images and remember how it felt, which is why I aim to capture emotions and interactions, rather than posing for every shot.
Through my career in photographing people, exploring the art of digital and film photography, meeting others who value this kind of experience, and constantly pushing myself, my journey with photography has shaped me to be the person I am today and continues to help me grow the more I immerse myself in it!

“There are few things that inspire and excite me more than photography!”
I've always loved taking pictures. Even when I was 12 years old and just had my little canon point-and-shoot camera! Though it wasn't till I got more into photographing people, and not just objects and landscapes, that I learned just how impactful photography can truly be. It's also helped me to connect better with others and make lasting friendships.
Getting to know my couples before we even show up for the shoot is really important to me. Their pictures should be authentic and spark a feeling, a memory. I do this by observing how they flow with one another, capturing their reactions to how they make each other feel and laugh, and bonding with them in such a way that they feel completely comfortable around me and are able to let loose and fully be themselves. I help them to find what makes them feel alive and photograph them in that moment, in their element, to remind them of who they are and the way they felt. Preserving all of the intimate and laughable moments.

I was asked to photograph my first wedding when I was still a junior in high school! I didn't know much about weddings and I was beyond shocked when the bride reached out to me. That kind of faith in someone is still so inspiring to me! Because she trusted me to capture her wedding when I hadn't dabbled in this work before, she ignited my journey with couples photography and now I can't get enough!
Each shoot is different because every relationship is different and I wouldn't have it any other way. The fact that people trust me to capture their truest selves just makes me want to get to know them even more and that translates into their pictures! The couples I photograph are my greatest inspiration and I know that will never change.
I want you to be able to relive this day for years and generations to come, whenever you look back on your images.

My approach to photography is to be there for my couples all the way. When I show up on your wedding day, I've got major butterflies and can't wait to see you both in your getup, ready to start this journey together! I take my job seriously and don't want to miss a beat, but I also like to get to know everyone and make the day as carefree and fun as possible.
I've done this enough to know that the experience you're getting from me will help your day to flow smoothly and ensure that you'll remember all of the feels, without stress! Your wedding pictures aren't a checklist. They're beautiful moments frozen in time, as you come together with your loved ones to experience one of the most memorable days in your lives.
I really mean it when I say that I'll be there, walking alongside you all the way. Your 6+ hour wedding day may go by faster than you think and by the end of it, you'll be wondering where the day went and if you missed anything- from getting ready to making your grand exit.
Well I got you! I will arrive at first light to capture your closest family and friends getting you into your dress, the look on your partner's face as you meet for the first time that day, and all of the little in between moments. Through mainly candid imagery, with some posed family pictures for mom and dad.

Some of my favorite pastimes include:
- Watching movies (at home or in theaters) and discussing my thoughts with others afterwards.
- Exploring cities and landmarks, and hiking in those areas for the first time.
- Snuggling my cat first thing in the morning and right before I fall asleep.
- Playing Scattergories & Taboo.
- Going literally anywhere with my husband, but especially to get food!
- Visiting my family in Tucson, Arizona!
That’s just a little sneak peek into my life, with a few of my favorite things that aren't photography-related. If you connect with me on any of these things, I'm sure we'll have a grand time! And if you choose me to tell your love story, I know that the time we spend together will go farther than just one day. It means the world to me when I get to be a part of someone's wedding day. I don't take that lightly!
